Hopeful thoughts

Do you ever had the feeling
that you have to keep dealing,
with the thought that everything you've known
was actually unknown?

an optical illusion by the brain?
It drives men insane.

Sometimes its misleading
still, it keeps you seeding.

Sometimes there are feelings you'll try to keep
but then you realize,
you just were asleep.

Ears wide open,
Eyes wide shut
in my world there is no such thing as ' but' .

This was a day with regrets and sorrow,
and other people say ;
'but' there's always a better tomorrow.
